 d Community </strong></p><p>Join the UTUUC Women’s Connection for the 2026 
 Women’s Retreat at the Carmelite Spiritual Center in Darien, IL.  We will a
 gain offer options to attend the retreat for the whole weekend as well as S
 aturday only (commuter).</p><p>Let’s get a start on 2026 as we prepare for 
 whatever comes our way in the new year.  Join us for our Saturday morning k
 eynote feature: <strong>“<em>A World Cafe on Care, Connection, Conversation
  and Community” </em> </strong>facilitated by Anne White.  The theme remind
 s us of why we come together in an annual retreat located in a beautiful lo
 cation.</p><p>The <em>World Café</em> is designed to help people get to kno
 w one another better in a relaxed and informal space. Working in small grou
 ps the World Cafe encourages participants to hold authentic conversations a
 round questions that matter most. Anne creates a safe space where participa
 nts are encouraged to be the “keynote” speakers of their lives.</p><p><stro
 ng>Anne White</strong> is a trained group facilitator who thrives on guidin
 g conversations using the <em>World Cafe</em> method. She has designed and 
 facilitated several <em>World Cafes</em> for both the Women’s Connection an
 d the Unity Temple congregation. Anne is a former nonprofit executive havin
 g spent most of her career creating organizational and community change wit
 h a focus on leadership development while using nature as a classroom. She 
 has been an active member of Unity Temple since moving to Oak Park from Was
 hington, DC in 2008.</p><p>This year’s retreat will include two workshop se
 ssions Saturday afternoon.  Some offerings are Improv Games, Collaging, Gui
 ded Imagery, Loving Kindness Meditation, Drum Circle, Felties, Outdoor Medi
 tation and more. All retreat registrants will receive via email description
 s of workshops in January and will then be able to indicate workshop prefer
 ences.</p><p>In addition, we will have our craft table, Dance Friday, Satur
 day Sharing Show, craft table, massage and yoga.  We will also include our 
 Spiritual Ceremonies and gatherings: Friday evening Ingathering, Saturday a
 fternoon and Sunday morning closing.</p><p><strong>Weekend registration</st
 rong> includes five meals (one Friday, three Saturday and one Sunday). All 
 rooms have a full bath, and two twin beds. Check-in time is 5:00-7:00 on Fr
 iday-notify us if you are going to be later. You may register to have a roo
 m as a single, or as a double with a roommate (see prices below). We are an
 ticipating on having plenty of bedrooms available to give women their choic
 e of single or double, but this is not guaranteed so register early!</p><p>
 <strong>Saturday only registration</strong> includes 3 meals. Saturday chec
 k-in is 7:00-8:45 am.</p><p><strong>Scholarships:</strong> If you would lik
